Collegium Invisibile has its own private library, as it is open only for the scientific research of the students or tutors. Moreover, the library contains books that are not freely available in Polish scientific libraries. The aim of the library is to gather resources, which are virtually inaccessible in Poland. The books in the library have to fulfil certain conditions:
  1. they have to be published abroad
  2. access to them in Polish public libraries should be difficult
  3. they should represent the latest knowledge in their particular scientific field

The Library Commission is appointed every year from among current CI students. The Library Commission decides on the purchase of books based on the requests from students, graduates and tutors. Moreover, the Library Commission explores a variety of funding sources for the purchase of the books, including grants and gifts. The members of the Library Commission consists of representatives from a majority of areas studied within the Collegium.

The CI Library is available to others for viewing, provided there was a prior arrangement with the Collegium's Secretatiat. However, only CI students and tutors check out books for two-month periods, with the option to prolong this up to four months.
