Collegium Invisibile Association is an academic body which promotes professors and students working together according to the principle of the master-student relationship. This practice stems from a centuries-old heritage practiced in renowned British universities. Its application in Poland creates a new level of quality in the Polish system of higher education.
From the moment of its founding, Collegium follows the tradition of the 18th century "Collegium Noblilium" (an elite high-school founded in 1740 in Warsaw). The modern and open education it provides is to serve not only the development of its students, but also to the society, in that it hopes to encourage responsible civic behaviour.
Collegium Invisibile is the oldest Polish institution educating students in the tutorial system (master-student cooperation) in accordance with the idea of liberal education. This practice allows students to follow an individually chosen path of academic study.
Our members actively participate in the European academic life. The association is a frequent initiator and organizer of academic conferences, debates and seminars. Furthermore, it provides support to students from other countries, especially from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.
Our graduates play a significant and inspiring role in both the academic and social life in Poland. Through participation in various projects carried out by the Association, graduates are able to share their academic and professional experience with their younger colleagues.
Each year, after passing a careful admission procedure, about twenty of the most talented Polish students are granted a membership in Collegium and thus receive an opportunity to work with distinguished scholars and to begin an exciting intellectual adventure.
